Blackcurrant is rich in vitamin C and dietary fiber. Blackcurrant seeds are a natural source for vitamin E, they also include many polyunsaturated fatty acids. Seeds are best in the crushed and powdered form. Blackcurrants have one the highest anthocyanin contents of berries. These acidic, sweet and gentle aromatic berries contain minerals such as calcium, copper, potassium, magnesium, and manganese, and it is also considered a source of iron.
