Eating them is a real sustainable act, because wild plants do not need irrigation, fertilizers, or any expensive equipment for processing. We have gathered nutritional information on all our products and product categories. Below you can find a table that pulls together data from different sources. Our main source for information is Fineli, the National Food Composition Database in Finland, which is maintained by the National Institute for Health and Welfare. As it is more difficult to find reliable information about some products, we have gathered information about those products from various sources that we trust and appreciate. Those sources include our own product tests in neutral laboratories, Arctic Flavours Association, Halmetoja, Piippo, and, of course, our own producers.

The internet is full of information. We carefully select the sources of information we offer. There is a plenty of information available on berries which are also the most researched of our products. We are happy to see there is a growing interest in and awareness toward herbs and mushrooms as well, and thus we are eagerly looking for more researched information on them.
