This is a classic combination of herbs that goes way back in European folk history. Also known as ‘YEP Tea’. ‘YEP’ stands for Yarrow, Elderflower, Peppermint. This tea has traditionally been used for colds and flu, especially when there is also fever. And the taste is quite pleasant as well.
Ingredients: Yarrow, Peppermint, Elderflower Ingredients (latin): Achillea millefolium, Mentha piperita, Sambucus nigra
Country of origin: Finland (Elderflower from Germany)
Not recommended for pregnant women.
Directions: Pour one cup of boiled water over 1-2 tsp of herbs. Steep 5-8 minutes. Strain. Add honey or sweetener if desired. Enjoy!
